New site, new blogs, new update!

It's been a while since I posted an update on my diary and now that we've got a spangly new blog system I've got no excuses. I can now post live updates from anywhere in the world!

We've been working on this like crazy over the past few weeks and finally it's at a stage where is usable so it has gone live :) It's not quite finished yet so there's a link to the old site whilst we finish adding the content and other cool stuff. Sorry for all the messing about but it'll be worth the wait... I promise!

You should know this site wouldn't be here without the amazing work that our Mods and Admins have been doing during the upgrades.

A huge thanks to my GF Jo for all the late, late nights she's spent working on the sites. She's my rock and keeps me out of trouble! LOL

Big, big hugs to the matron of the site and inspiration to all, Fran, and our wonderful Mods Team Coralie, KimC and Pinkribbongirl. They've done a great job behind the scenes and every single day on the main boards.

Don't forget, these guys are here for the same reason as you but they've given up their time to help others going through the same thing.

These are the diamonds you find across the world.

There's not many but we might have stumbled across some more... watch this space!

So now that I've got you up to scratch with the site I better say something about my RHS. Well we're now just over 6 years on since onset and I'm still feeling the residuals of RHS.

Whenever I yawn my right eye is still closing and when I pull certain expressions like wrinkle my nose I can feel my right cheek freeze for a split second before dropping back down into a relaxed position. Almost like a mini cramp.

When I'm tired the right eye closes more and blinks slightly slower. I also get quite a bit of twitching of the eyelid which can last, on and off, for hours. It gets quite giddy sometimes and there's nothing I can do to stop it once it decides to breakdance on my eyeball.

Other stuff like flaring my nostrils causes the eyelid and the muscles just below my bottom lip to pull. It's weird and although people say they don't notice it I do notice it a lot so they must be blind, polite or liars hahahhaa.

My high pitched friend is still with me and at times it gets so loud it can drown out voices! I don't know why that happens. Most of the time it's just a steady high frequency but every few blue moons it'll drop in pitch and increase quite quickly and in volume too until it gets bored and goes back to singing the same old tinnitus tune.

I haven't had any vertigo attacks for a while and it can stay that way for all I care lol. My balance is great now although I've been doing a lot of exercise recently including balance stuff.

I haven't exactly been too well since my RHS and a variety of problems have left me wondering whether I slept walked into a hall of mirrors with a sledgehammer one time and not remembered it. Must've been the same night that I lost my rabbit's foot, horseshoe and four leaf clover running under a line of ladders!

But I'm still here, barely, and I'll be annoying you all again soon with some more inane babble so go on... I've wasted enough of your time.... go away and do something more interesting!

See ya!
